Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Information Technology Technician role based in Fort Rucker, AL. The Information Technology Technician will provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, networks, and peripheral devices, ensuring minimal downtime for end users. Responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, responding to support tickets, and escalating complex problems when needed. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining workstations and related equipment, as well as performing routine updates, patches, and system checks. The technician will also deliver user-focused customer service, assist with basic user training on systems and applications, document procedures and resolutions, and support IT-related aspects of training and program services.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Information Technology, including hardware, software, and basic networking concepts.
- Proficient in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose, resolve, and document IT issues effectively.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with users of varying technical backgrounds.
- Experience providing Training or user guidance on systems, software, and IT best practices.
