Engel & Völkers Pagosa Springs is seeking a high-level Operations Manager to help run and refine the systems behind one of the top-producing luxury real estate offices in Southwest Colorado. We are a small but high-performing team of five professionals operating in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. This role requires someone who is exceptionally organized, systems-driven, and capable of managing the daily operational rhythm of a busy office. We are looking for someone at a higher level than we have hired in the past — a true operational professional who enjoys bringing structure, systems, and clarity to a dynamic business. This is a customer-first business. We operate more like Nordstrom than Walmart — meaning we go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service to clients.
The environment of our office is collaborative, energetic, and sometimes loud due to our physical workspace and the nature of the business. The right candidate will thrive in a setting where priorities shift quickly, and no two days are the same. We are a husband-and-wife leadership team who work well together but occasionally approach situations differently. The Operations Manager must be comfortable navigating that dynamic and helping maintain operational clarity. This role requires someone who can pivot quickly while keeping systems intact.
Key Responsibilities Office Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of a small, high-performing real estate office
- Coordinate and support a team of five agents/staff
- Help design and improve operational systems when needed
- Ensure systems and processes are followed consistently
- Help manage priorities and scheduling in a fast-moving business
- Work within CRM systems
- Technology & Marketing Support
- Work within CRM systems
- Maintain and update simple templated websites across multiple platforms
- Assist with social media posting and LinkedIn updates
- Maintain a clean, organized office environment inside and out (team effort) Team Support
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in an office or administrative environment with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Comfortable Excel and Microsoft Office usage
- Some Google Workspace Experience
- Data organization, reporting, and some spreadsheet management
- Maintain strong organization of files, digital assets, and business information
- CRM systems
- Website updates (template-based, relatively “Plug & Play”)
- Social media scheduling/posting

Work Schedule
We prefer this role to be primarily in-office, and leaning towards full time. But for an exceptional candidate, we would consider 25-30 hrs/week. Regardless of the arrangements, occasional weekend work is required due to the nature of real estate. Summers we would anticipate 1 weekend/month. We are open to flexible arrangements including:
- 1-2 days per week remote
- Four 7 - 10-hour days
- Limited flexibility for family schedules and school schedules

- We pay occasional bonuses based on company production
