About the Role
Engauge Workforce Solutions is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Business Development & Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building meaningful client partnerships, generating new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
We are especially interested in candidates who bring previous recruiting or staffing experience combined with a sales-driven personality and passion for relationship building. Candidates with experience developing manufacturing client relationships or selling within manufacturing environments are highly valued, as many of our partnerships support industrial and manufacturing organizations.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing new client relationships while also nurturing and growing existing accounts. You will serve as a trusted staffing consultant to companies across a variety of industries, helping them solve workforce challenges through temporary, temporary-to-permanent, and direct hire staffing solutions.

What You’ll Do
Business Development
- Prospect and secure new staffing opportunities through phone calls, email outreach, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings.
- Identify companies that align with the Engauge client profile and develop strategies to turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.
- Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client workforce needs and recommend customized staffing solutions.
- Create and deliver impactful sales presentations tailored to each client’s business goals and hiring challenges.
- Negotiate service agreements and contractual terms while collaborating with recruiting teams to ensure successful delivery.
Account Management & Client Nurturing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and build strong, long-term client relationships.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and continued partnership growth.
- Conduct regular client check-ins and account reviews to proactively identify staffing needs and opportunities for expansion.
- Collaborate closely with recruiting and operations teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience from order intake through placement completion.
- Resolve client concerns quickly and professionally while maintaining a solution-oriented mindset.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through additional staffing services and workforce solutions.
Relationship Building & Collaboration
- Develop trusted relationships with decision makers and key stakeholders.
- Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and community organizations to build brand awareness and referral partnerships.
- Maintain accurate client communication and activity records within Bullhorn CRM and ATS systems.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure timely follow-up, open order management, and successful placements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, business development, sales, account management, or customer relationship management preferred.
- Candidates with prior recruiting experience and a sales-driven personality are highly encouraged to apply.
- Manufacturing sales experience or experience supporting manufacturing clients is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Experience with CRM/ATS systems such as Bullhorn is a plus.
