JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY: The LRFP Practice Executive will provide leadership in the areas of practice finance/revenue management, business, operations, and strategic planning. The position is responsible for developing business solutions that will advance practice performance and outcomes. The Practice Executive serves as a liaison between the managing partners, physicians, and clinic leadership as well as the EngageMED services.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ongoing operations of LRFP.
- Manages and directs LRFP toward its primary goals and objectives.
- Oversee employment decisions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Strategy: Assists physicians in the development of high priority initiatives and strategic opportunities. Leads assigned strategy initiatives and meetings.
· Business Solutions: Utilizes knowledge of business principles and practices to position LRFP for the future.
· Marketing: Plans and oversees innovative marketing initiatives.
· Compliance: Ensures the practices adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
· Financial Management: Manages budgets, revenue, and expenses, ensuring financial stability, profitability, and growth of the practices.
· Operations: Ensures that an adequate organizational structure is in place to accommodate effective business, operations, and quality. Provides for the proper delegation of authority and responsibility throughout the enterprise.
· Communication: Acts as a liaison between the practices and various service lines at EngageMED such as revenue cycle, IT, Software Support, and People Services.
· Ensures that an adequate organizational structure is in place to accommodate effective operations.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent managerial and financial skills.
· Superlative communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate as a leader.
· Thorough understanding of management and financial practices of business operations.
· Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, accounting, or related field.
· Minimum of five or more years of experience as a senior leader in the healthcare industry, preferably, in an ambulatory care setting.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises.
