Primary Therapist

We are looking to add to our amazing team here in Westlake Village! Full time w2 position with benefits, with mixture of working in our insurance based Primary Mental Health IOP for youth 10-25 years old, as well as cash pay private practice on a fee split.

The ideal candidate is value-driven associate, eager to learn and be trained in DBT, the Violet Oaklander Model of Gestalt Play Therapy, and have experience and/or interest in working with youth and LGBTQIA youth. Work collaboratively with team of full time in-person experienced supervisors,

• Full time with benefits (medical insurance, PTO)
• Pre-licensed Hourly pay for administrative duties (incluiding supervision and training) of $28 per hour, 30% bonus (ie. equivalent of $36.50/hr) for clinical group hours, fee split (pre-licensed 50/50. licensed 65/35) for private pay clients. Pre-licensed therapists full private pay fee is $150 per session, though all are encouraged to provide some sliding fee for families that require it
• Paid training (DBT, Motivational Interviewing, working with LGBTQIA population, Violet Oaklander Model of Gestalt Play Therapy, and more)

• Co-facilitate group therapy for Preteen primary mental health IOP serving ages 10-25 
• Coordinate caseload of 2-5 cases with Family Therapists and Clinical Supervisors
• Provide weekly parent phone calls for 2-5 cases
• Attend weekly treatment meetings and trainings
• Beyond IOP responsibilities, facilitate OP groups and/or see OP private pay clients

• AMFT, ACSW, or Psychological Associate required
• Experience with DBT/youth/group therapy preferred but not required
