What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Breakfast Attendant position at Engage Hospitality?
Breakfast attendant main function is to prepare breakfast for the hotel guests while greeting and servicing them in a friendly manner consistent with Hyatt's standards.
Job Description
- Carry food, fruits, trays, or silverware from pantry to serving counters.
- Set up food displays and maintain cleanliness to ensure food safety.
- Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths.
- Clean up spilled food, drink and remove trash.
- Maintain adequate supplies of items such as paper plates/bowls/fork/spoons/knife or trays.
- Fill beverage and pancake dispensers.
- Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers.
- Locate and provide items requested by guests.
- Clean counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in pantry or breakfast area and mop or vacuum floors.
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
- Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications:
- Food sanitation certification a plus and required within 90 days of employment.
- Be able to do flexible schedules includes weekends and holidays.
- Be able to communicate with the guest
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching; kneeling, or crouching.
Work Schedule: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
