What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct on-site investigations to evaluate damages to residential and commercial structures.
- Draft detailed, accurate engineering reports aligned with company standards.
- Communicate findings clearly with clients and stakeholders, keeping documentation up to date.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Review and provide feedback on peer engineering reports.
- Track project progress, schedules, and budgets, escalating issues when needed.
- Support project demands with flexibility.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Certification: Active P.E. license in the state of assignment; NCEES Record preferred.
- Experience: 2–3 years in failure analysis, construction, building codes, or related engineering fields.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, organizational ability, and detail orientation.
- Mindset: Dependable, self-motivated, and able to thrive both independently and in a team setting.
- Cultural Fit: Positive attitude, professionalism, and alignment with a collaborative, client-first culture.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel up to 40%.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move 50–100 lbs.
- Comfortable climbing roofs, ladders, scaffolding, or entering crawl spaces.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as required.
- Extended vehicle travel for site visits (up to 50%).
