What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Electrician – Remodeling Experience position at ENG Remodeling Service?
We are a residential remodeling company looking for an experienced Residential Electrician to join our team. Our projects include whole-home remodels, kitchen and bathroom renovations, additions, and other residential construction work.
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, able to work independently, and experienced working in both existing homes and new construction areas.
Responsibilities:
- Perform residential electrical work for remodels, renovations, and additions
- Electrical rough-in and trim-out
- Install and replace outlets, switches, dimmers, lighting fixtures, recessed lighting, ceiling fans, and other electrical devices
- Run new wiring and circuits
- Install dedicated circuits for appliances and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair residential electrical issues
- Perform electrical work in existing/occupied homes while minimizing damage to finished areas
- Read plans and understand electrical layouts
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Complete work according to applicable electrical codes and requirements
Requirements:
- Residential electrical experience required
- Remodeling and renovation experience strongly preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, rough-in, and trim-out
- Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have basic electrical tools
- Valid Texas electrical license appropriate for the work performed preferred/required as applicable
- Comfortable working in attics and other typical residential construction environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remodeling crew
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Approximately 40 hours per week
Pay:
Pay is based on experience, licensing, and qualifications.
We are looking for someone interested in consistent residential remodeling work who takes pride in producing clean, professional-quality electrical installations.
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
