Industrial Maintenance Technician (All Shifts)

Position: Industrial Maintenance Tech

Nature and Scope:

Repairs and maintains mechanical, hydraulic and electrical components of production machines and equipment such as metalworking machines, CNC, machine tools, robotics, material handling systems, and automated machine control and safety by performing the following duties.

This position reports to the Operations

Principal Accountabilities

Formal technical training, or equivalent experience in an industrial environment, to include at least a couple of the following skills (in no particular order):

• Electrical, 480V is a plus
• PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)
• AC/DC Drives
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics
• Basic machine shop skills, i.e. manual lathe, mill, saw, etc.
• Plumbing
• Welding (Stick, TIG, MIG, etc.)
• Cutting , Brazing
• Good mechanical aptitude

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Industrial maintenance: 3 years (Required)
• Industrial Mechanical knowledge: 5 years (Required)

Language:

• English (Required)
