Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tests on aerospace components, including pneumatic and hydraulic pressure testing, hydraulic flow testing, hydraulic load testing, dead load testing, and both static and dynamic balancing. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to adapt to new challenges frequently. Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting your career, this is the ideal environment for you to thrive and grow alongside a dynamic, expanding company. We believe in providing the training necessary to be successful in the position, however candidates with experience reading and interpreting blueprints and experience in shop environments move to the front of the line.
Responsibilities include:
· Perform pressure, hydraulic flow, hydraulic load, and dead load testing, static and dynamic balancing of aerospace tooling and flight parts.
· Maintain quality by following ISO9001:2015 standards.
· Read blueprints, process sheets, and operation sheets to thoroughly understand and execute the testing requirements of complex parts.
· Adapt to a high mix and ever-changing range of parts and processes.
· Operate a variety of test equipment.
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
· Manage daily workflow to meet deadlines and balance competing priorities.
· Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and Safety-First culture.
· Maintain accurate, legible, and timely records.
· Collaborate effectively with other staff to work towards shared goals.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Blueprint reading
· In-depth knowledge of general dimensioning and tolerances.
· Experience designing basic tools or fixturing a strong plus.
· Strong work ethic – we work hard to ensure a timely turn-around for our customers. This position plays a major role in ensuring a smooth operation.
· Communication skills – effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are important to the function of this job.
· Attention to detail.
· Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
· Relevant experience a plus.
· Ability to read and process a blueprint is a strong plus.
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
