Job Title: Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and reliability of products within a fast-paced aerospace testing environment. The Quality Inspector is responsible for photographing and documenting the as-received condition of customer parts, ensuring each part is in testable condition, verifying proper identification and traceability, and releasing orders for testing. Once testing is complete, the Quality Inspector performs a magnified visual inspection, photographs and documents the as-returned condition, and confirms that the part met all applicable test requirements.

NOTE: this position does not perform dimensional inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
· Document the visual, as-received and as-returned condition of customer parts.
· Verify that incoming parts meet basic criteria for test readiness.
· Ensure proper part identification, labeling, paperwork accuracy, and full traceability throughout the testing process.
· Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
· Follow established procedures and contribute to maintaining a clean, organized inspection area.
· Clearly communicate technical information with technicians, customers, and management regarding part status or issues.
· Assist with general inspection, paperwork, and testing/administrative tasks as needed.
· Schedule monthly internal preventive maintenance and equipment calibration.
Required Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Ability to read and process blueprints and technical drawings.
· Strong work ethic – we work hard to ensure a timely turn-around for our customers. This position plays a major role in ensuring a smooth operation.
· Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
· Ability to follow established procedures consistently.
· Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
· Subject to reasonable suspicion drug testing during employment.
· May be required to participate in random testing when mandated by customer contracts.
· Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
· Communication skills – effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are important to the function of this job.
· Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
· Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, quality, or inspection (preferred but not required).
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 per week
