System Integrator/Controls Engineer

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ability to Draft, and Read PID’S, Schematics, and Wiring Diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical software
• Experience in communicating and coordinating projects with customers and other departments in a timely and clear manner
• Manage team of Instrumentation Technicians: direct work, mentor, and promote company culture
• Design and implementation of panels to UL specifications
• Knowledge of Hazardous Locations and related wiring applications.
• Knowledge of various Safety procedures and their significance.
• Implementation of Process instrumentation and applications
• Advanced Electrical Knowledge AC & DC Voltages & Applications
• Noise Isolation practices and issues, Circuit grounding.
• Use of various types of meters, process Meters, Multimeters and Hart Modems.
• Ability to understand different processes related to automation equipment and plant control systems
• Proficient in programming of PLC and RTU Hardware
• Rockwell Automation Studio 5000 / Rockwell Automation Logix 500
• Various HMI Programming (Rockwell Automation, Red Lion, Beijer Electronics)
• Serial Communication setup, wiring, troubleshooting, and installation,
• Be ready and adaptable to various jobs functions related to the automation field.
• Motor Controls circuitry operation, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read Electrical prints, wiring diagrams, one lines

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• (Associates of Applied Science) 2-year degree in Instrumentation & Controls (or Equivalent)
• Troubleshooting / Programming Experience with Allen Bradley Controllers, or other RTU / PLC Type, Beijer electronics
• HMI programming, (Rockwell Automation, Red Lion, Bejeir Electronics)
• At least three-years’ experience in an Oil & Gas environment
• (Associates of Applied Science) 2 year degree in Instrumentation & Controls (or Equivalent Field Experience)
• 3 or more years, experience in an industrial environment.
