Our customers are primarily commercial and agricultural businesses and fleet operators of all sizes. This month we celebrate our 38th anniversary of exceeding customer expectations and we continue to grow.The successful Cardlock Fuel Sales rep will anticipate then meet the needs of current and potential customers by promoting our cardlock fuel program and management services throughout the region.This is a full-time position with a standard M-F, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm work schedule. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to meet an emergent customer need.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManage the entire sales cycle within a defined territoryMaintain and strengthen existing customer relationshipsIdentify, pursue and close new business opportunities by developing a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, referrals and cold-callingConduct in-person visits and presentations to potential clients using a company-provided vehicleWork closely with the entire CO-Energy to successfully onboard new customersAll other duties as assigned to ensure superior customer serviceACCOUNTABILITIESMeet or exceed assigned sales and customer contact goalsAchieve a 3-5% increase in new customer base each performance periodDaily contact with employees, customers and the general public in a professional manner with courtesy, discretion and sound judgementREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSOne (1) year of sales experienceAbility to learn about and understand the specific details, features, benefits and differences in company-sold products and services relevant to this positionAbility to inform and educate customers of sameAbility to to multi-task and keep customer account information organized and confidentialPossess a valid driver licensePossess a clean driving record with no more than one (1) moving violation or at-fault accident in the last three (3) yearsAbility to use normal office technology: smart phone, tablet, email, Microsoft Excel and WordPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSMore than one (1) year of sales experienceWork history of successful business-to-business sales experiencePHYSICAL ENVIRONMENTMeeting customers outside in all weather conditions - RegularlyEntering & exiting work truck (F350 or Silverado 3500 type) - RepeatedlyLifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, loading and unloading up to 50 lbs - Occasionally
