Licensed Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand and power tools, following safety standards and blueprints.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical schematics to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
• Work with low-voltage systems, high-voltage setups, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards to ensure compliance.
• Conduct renovations and upgrades on existing electrical infrastructure within commercial or industrial facilities.
• Use testing equipment, such as ohmmeters, to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
• Collaborate with construction teams on site to coordinate electrical work with framing carpentry and other trades.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and system modifications.

Requirements

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification with proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical work.
• Demonstrated experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems, high voltage wiring practices, and NEC regulations.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician tasks is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform renovation projects requiring adaptability across various environments, including construction sites.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are a plus.
