The primary mission of Energy Services is to provide limited income families with the services and assistance necessary to prevent and or alleviate energy-related emergencies from occurring, while promoting initiatives that result in a family’s long-term self-sufficiency.
Energy Services is seeking qualified applicants for a Front Desk / Intake Eligibility Specialist position for our offices located in Chilton, WI. This position is full time and will serve all communities within Wisconsin. Must have a passion and outgoing personality for working with limited and low income households, excellent customer service, math and computer skills. This very rewarding position is a combination of processing applications either in person with the customer or over the phone to establish the eligibility for energy assistance, collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders within the community, attending community events to serve the low income population of the counties listed above, specifically veterans, disabled, elderly and families with young children. The role would require greeting clients in person and via phone in both a front desk capacity and in a face to face setting. Experience working in a non-profit setting with limited income families, elderly and veterans a plus. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 but we work until 6:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
