POSITION SUMMARY

 

We are an innovative and market-leading global software & services company serving clients in the utility sector ranging from new entrants to large existing retailers. We deliver sophisticated software solutions and managed services in a Private Cloud infrastructure, servicing both traditional and modern real-time, energy clients.

 

The People team are responsible for providing an effective end to end service throughout all stages of the employment life cycle. The People Business Partner will not only be an administrative expert and a people champion, but also a change agent and a strategic partner for the business. They will support and work closely with the Global People & Culture team on setting priorities, driving values, and delivering business results. 

 

This role requires a hybrid working arrangement – minimum of 2/3 days based in the office may require more subject to business needs.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helping build and maintain a strong organizational culture, as well as continuously improving the employee experience.
  • Provide advice and suggestions for culture-related initiatives.
  • Working together with management and employees to solve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, and decrease unwanted turnover.
  • Providing the day-to-day delivery of efficient and effective people support and advisory services to ESG managers and employees.
  • Leads and manages the end to end recruitment process and grows/maintains network of contacts to help identify and recruit top talent into ESG.
  • Contributes to the successful delivery of human resource functions through displaying the company’s values and general goals/objectives
  • Dealing with requests from employees and managers on general people queries, leaves of absence, administrative procedures and providing support and guidance around our policies in line with labor laws.
  • Preparation of all letters of contract for any necessary changes in employee terms and conditions.
  • Working with management in their business area to make sure employees have the skills and resources they need to achieve their objectives
  • Developing plans for areas such as recruitment, training, talent management and succession and helping relevant managers to implement them
  • Providing guidance and coaching to employees and line managers 
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Front end HRIS Management
  • Maintaining job descriptions and working within the parameters of the Pay Transparency Framework
  • Contributing to audit and compliance activities
  • Maintaining personnel files/records

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

 

Experience

  • Strong work ethic, and a reputation for the highest degree of integrity
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizationally savvy, collaborative with poise and confidence to interact with all levels of management.
  • Ability to professionally maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions.
  • Ability to negotiate conflict and lead conflict resolution while maintaining strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to learn new programs and procedures quickly
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong time management skills 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)
  • Knowledge of ADP and Workable is desirable
  • 3 years of working within a People/HR Generalist/Specialist role
