What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Engineer position at Energy Search Pros?
Our client is a privately held and active Exploration & Production operating company with extensive assets in Gulf of America. As a result of growth and expanding operations, there is desire to add an experienced Facilities Engineer to the asset team. Successful candidates will have proven engineering and technical expertise including construction and project management experience predominantly with offshore production facilities.
Position Requirements:
- Design, maintenance, repair and optimization of existing production facilities, gathering systems and utility equipment
- Primary lead for engineering design and execution on capital projects including new facilities and retrofit applications
- Accountable for compliance and government (state/federal) regulations (API RP14C, 30 CFR 250) and HSEQ management with contractor partners/suppliers
- Lead project management and technical oversight for assigned assets including construction, resource allocation, compliance documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and performance metrics
- Bachelors in Engineering w/ 10 years' experience in offshore production facilities
- Proven ability to manage complex engineering/operational projects involving multiple stakeholders (internal and external)
- Demonstrated communication and leadership attributes at all levels including senior leaders and field operations
- P.E. certification desired
- Open to candidates from E&P operating companies and engineering design firms
