Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will coordinate daily transportation activities, communicate with drivers, and ensure routes are planned and executed efficiently. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent problem-solving skills, and can work independently while supporting a team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dispatch operations and prepare routes for the following day.
- Receive and process customer orders via phone and email in a timely manner.
- Monitor driver progress throughout each shift and provide support as needed.
- Review routes for efficiency and make adjustments when necessary.
- Respond quickly to issues at customer locations and help ensure safe, effective resolutions.
- Monitor electronic gauges and equipment at customer sites on a daily basis.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and documentation.
- Assist fellow dispatchers during peak periods and provide team support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and .
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 4:00 AM - 2:00 PM
