We are seeking a Site Engineering Specialist to support the deployment of electrical and mechanical equipment at our Pecos, TX site. This role is critical for ensuring technical accuracy, quality control, and safe execution of field engineering tasks. You will collaborate closely with the Senior Project Manager, engineers, inspectors, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret electrical drawings and blueprints to support field installations and inspections.
- Conduct QA/QC inspections and maintain documentation (as-builts, redlines, loop folders, quality forms).
- Support daily reporting including Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), progress updates, and inspection logs.
- Assist with installation of instruments, tubing, and conduit systems.
- Perform electrical testing and verification (VLF testing, ground testing, meggering).
- Coordinate with engineers and contractors to ensure scope alignment and technical compliance.
- Maintain and organize technical documentation (ITPs, PQPs, turnover books).
- Track materials and ensure proper handling, inventory accuracy, and documentation.
- Support on-site training and help bridge language barriers.
- Promote and uphold site safety standards and contribute to a culture of accountability.
Required:
- Ability to commute daily to Pecos, TX site.
- Experience in field engineering, electrical or mechanical installations, and QA/QC processes.
- Willingness to work extended hours and overtime as needed.
