Role Overview

• Position: IT SAP Developer (Permanent)
• Location: In-office, Houston, TX corporate headquarters
• Purpose: Deliver ABAP and SQL code, configuration changes, and technical design to support SAP digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Design, code, configure, and unit test SAP solutions.
• Mentor team on SAP ecosystem and best practices.
• Support deployments, test cycles, and issue management.
• Improve performance and reliability of SAP customizations.
• Participate in Agile processes (sprint planning, daily scrums).
• Represent SAP custom code in architecture discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
• Experience: 5 years with SAP modules (IS-Oil, TSW, CM, S/4HANA TM, SD/MM, FI/CO, EHS, GRC, BW/4HANA).
• Technical Expertise:
• ABAP, SQL
• SAP BTP (BAS, Integration Suite), Cloud ALM, Signavio
• SAP Solution Manager, Fiori/UI5, CDS Views/OData
• ETL tools (SAP-Sphere, Syniti)
• Security/GRC compliance, DevSecOps tools
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.

• SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Oil & Gas industry background.
• Familiarity with Crude and Refined Products SAP modules.
