Job Description:

Mission

• Perform 3D modelling and 2D drafting tasks assigned by the Piping and Layout Lead, Engineers and Designers within schedule and with due respect to Quality and Safety requirements related to design, verification, testing or study activities
• Interface with other Draftsmen and report on a continuous basis to the Piping and Layout Lead, Engineers and Designers
  
  

Tasks

Execute the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements

• Verify at any time that the input information used for the work assigned is keeping up with the project development and warn the Project Piping and Layout Designers or Project Specialist Lead of any detected anomaly
• Carry out 3D modeling with either PDMS, PDS or Smartplant 3D
• Carry out construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracted from 3D for piping networks (overall plot plan, equipment layout drawings, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics and piping supports)
• Carry out bill of materials or material take off for requisitions
• Ensure the quality of documents produced by a permanent and adequate self-check
• Sign the documents produced
• Inform all people concerned about the modifications resulting from the documents produced
• Ensure, when required, the verification of documents produced by other draftsmen of the team
• Update the documents produced after comments issued by other disciplines (inter-discipline checks) or external stakeholders on the project (Client, Yards, Third party review, etc.)
• Apply during the work assigned the relevant provisions of the Piping and Layout Department Quality Control Procedure
  
  

What are we looking for?

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor's degree in: Engineering

Languages: English Language skills required

Technical Knowledge: Piping and piping drafting background and experience.
