Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical distribution systems, including:
– Induction and synchronous motors up to 40,000 hp and 15,000 volts
- Plan, schedule, and lead:
– Predictive maintenance programs (IR Thermography, Transformer Oil Analysis, Partial Discharge Analysis, Power Quality Analysis)
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Provide technical guidance to plant or contract personnel
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology OR Journeyman Electrician license
- 5 years of experience with medium-voltage (5kV–15kV) electrical systems in industrial environments
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for industrial electrical systems
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office and standard software
- Expertise in installation, troubleshooting, and repair of medium-voltage systems
- Familiarity with CMMS systems (e.g., Infor EAM)
- Understanding of regulatory standards/codes and control/instrumentation systems
