Role Overview:

The Document Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation throughout its lifecycle. This role ensures that all project documents are properly named, stored, and controlled in accordance with company standards and project requirements. The Document Controller also administers the project SharePoint site and supports document management activities through project closeout. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Information Management Plan for the project.
• Administer and maintain project-specific SharePoint sites, including security and access controls.
• Establish and manage document control processes, including transmittal logs, distribution matrices, and master document registers.
• Oversee document submission, revision, approval, and distribution in compliance with naming and numbering standards.
• Ensure proper handling of sensitive and regulated information.
• Track and report document and record status, resolving discrepancies with project teams and contractors.
• Prepare hardcopy records for retention and support project turnover and closeout activities.
• Maintain accurate records in deliverable tracking tools and perform other document management tasks as required.
