Construction Project Coordinator – Electrical & Instrumentation (E/I)

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Coordinator with a strong background in Electrical and Instrumentation (E/I) to support industrial construction projects in Toledo, Ohio. This contract role will focus on coordinating E/I activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules, budgets, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily construction activities related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution of E/I scope.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation.
• Track progress and report on milestones, risks, and issues.
• Assist with procurement and delivery of E/I materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Facilitate communication between subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Maintain project documentation including RFIs, change orders, and progress reports.
• Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction coordination with E/I focus.
• Familiarity with NEC, ISA standards, and industrial construction practices.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Toledo, Ohio.
• OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification preferred.
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or energy sector projects.
• Knowledge of control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation calibration.
• Exposure to commissioning and startup phases.
