The opportunity

Energy Home Care is a licensed non-medical in-home care agency serving Beaufort and Jasper Counties. We are seeking a South Carolina licensed LPN to serve as contract nurse supervisor for our Personal Care program.

This is well suited to an experienced LPN who wants defined, schedulable work without a full time commitment. Visits are predictable and you control your own calendar.

Scope of work

Per new client

• One initial in-home supervisory visit before Personal Care begins
• One 30-day follow-up visit in the home or facility
• Four-month recurring supervisory visits thereafter
• Plan of care development and updates

Per new aide

• Competency evaluation prior to first client contact
• Verification of required training areas including abuse, neglect, and exploitation reporting, infection control and universal precautions, basic care skills, and electronic visit verification

Ongoing

• Supervisory documentation meeting SCDHHS standards
• Availability by phone for clinical questions during business hours

Requirements

• Active South Carolina LPN license in good standing
• Professional liability insurance
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a SLED background check
• Working knowledge of SCDHHS HCBS documentation standards preferred

Terms

• Compensation: per visit, discussed based on experience and visit volume
• Mileage: included in the per visit rate for travel within Beaufort and Jasper Counties
• Independent contractor agreement, 1099
