Job Summary The Field Engineer will provide a supporting role to the Construction Manager and Project Manager. General responsibilities will include implementation of the project specific to RFI's, Submittals, Transmittals, Quality Control, Quality Inspection, Minor Electrical, Testing, Ensure the craft workers are performing their work as descried in the drawings and specifications. Responsibilities Manages project specific quality control records and ensuring that required reporting is accomplished. Planning, scheduling and coordinating to ensure that all required audits/inspections are performed and documented. Assist with material inventory and receiving paperwork. Assist with final job closeout, as-builts, job binder creation. Assist with subcontractor scheduling and management Will provide other duties as assigned. 100% Project Specific travel is required. Extended work hours and weekend work may be required. Assist with RFI (Request for Information) submittals Qualifications High School Diploma Written and verbal communication Basic Accounting skills Excellent communication skills, ability to find solutions from problems, and team approach to management Preferred Qualifications Bachelors of Science of Electrical Engineering-Construction Management or Equal preferred but not required. One to five years’ experience with field activities and quality control. View Point skills preferred Physical Skills Regularly required to read, write, talk and hear. Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel equipment. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk short and long distances, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Regularly drive a vehicle. Regularly works up to 14 hours daily. Occasionally works up to 14 days consecutively.
