This is a part-time hybrid role for a Retired Mechanical or Electrical Engineer. The position is based in Davisburg, MI, with flexibility to work remotely as needed. In this role, you will assist in evaluating and designing energy-efficient systems, utilizing your engineering expertise to support system maintenance and inspections. Additional tasks may include reviewing technical specifications, contributing to computer-aided design (CAD) projects, and applying your knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering to improve system operations and minimize energy consumption.
- Strong background in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and experience with creating and reviewing technical designs
- Experience in Maintenance and Inspection, particularly related to energy systems or industrial applications
- Knowledge of the Automotive industry and its technical systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
- A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is required
- Prior experience in energy efficiency or sustainability-focused projects is a plus
