We're looking for a relationship-driven Home Improvement Sales Consultant to join our team.

This is a consultative sales role where you'll work directly with homeowners to understand their goals, develop customized solutions, and guide them confidently through the purchasing process. While our primary focus is custom in-ground swimming pools, we don't expect you to come from the pool industry. If you've successfully sold home improvement, remodeling, construction, outdoor living, landscaping, or other high-value residential projects, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Meet with homeowners to understand their vision, property, lifestyle, and budget
• Conduct on-site consultations and recommend customized outdoor living solutions
• Prepare and present professional project estimates, proposals, and contracts
• Guide customers through the decision-making process with honesty, professionalism, and exceptional service
• Follow up consistently with leads and prospective customers throughout the sales cycle
• Build lasting relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
• Coordinate closely with our design, construction, scheduling, and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales pipeline activity
• Develop additional business through networking, referrals, and community relationships
• Continue learning about products, construction methods, design trends, and industry best practices

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means building trust with homeowners, delivering an outstanding customer experience, and helping customers confidently invest in a solution that fits their lifestyle and budget. You'll work closely with our construction team to ensure a smooth transition from signed contract to completed project while building lasting relationships that generate referrals and repeat business.

This helps candidates understand what they're actually being measured on.

What We're Looking For

• Previous consultative, outside, or relationship-based sales experience
• Experience selling residential construction, remodeling, home improvement, outdoor living, kitchens and baths, landscaping, roofing, windows, HVAC, or similar projects is highly preferred. Experience in the swimming pool industry is welcomed but not required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions
• Confidence presenting proposals, discussing investment levels, and closing sales
• Excellent organization, follow-up, and time management skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own schedule
• Comfortable learning technical product knowledge and construction processes
• Basic computer proficiency; CRM experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for customer appointments

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000 annual base salary
• Uncapped commission
• Expected First-Year Earnings: $60,000-$70,000 , based on performance
