Data Center Operations Technician – 2/3-Month Contract

Are you a hands-on technician with a passion for infrastructure, systems, and customer support? We’re looking for a Data Center Operations Technician II to join our team on a 3-month contract supporting a high-performance data center environment.
What You’ll Do
Provide Level technical support and remote hands assistance to customers
- Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure (UPS, HVAC, PDUs, etc.)
- Perform physical installations, cabling, and provisioning of services
- Support Windows OS, backup systems, and basic networking
- Escalate and resolve incidents in a calm, professional manner
- Maintain accurate documentation and perform shift handovers
What You Bring
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
Familiarity with Microsoft OS, backup platforms (Commvault), and cabling standards (568A/B)
Understanding of AC/DC power systems and building management tools
ITIL knowledge or certification is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in cold environments
