- Design & Quality Review: Ensure technical excellence by reviewing and refining designs and data
- Project Planning & Estimation: Prepare studies, scopes, and estimates to guide successful project outcomes
- Project Management: Lead with confidence, managing budget, scope, and timelines with minimal oversight
- Innovative Problem Solving: Create new solutions to overcome complex technical challenges
- Field Investigation & Implementation: Engage in field investigations to ensure successful project execution
- Team Oversight & Mentorship: Guide and oversee technical teams to maintain high standards and quality
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 7 years in heavy industrial design experience
- RISA or STADD experience preferred
- PE preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired
- Knowledge of discipline-specific computer analysis codes as well as standard office production software
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Familiar with the International Building code and building code design
- Good writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
- Familiar with concrete and steel design codes and with working stress and ultimate strength design approaches
