Asset Integrity & Corrosion Control Intern (Part-Time 2027 Spring Semester)

Join ENERCON's Asset Integrity team and gain hands-on experience supporting projects that help keep critical energy infrastructure safe and reliable. As an intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to learn about corrosion prevention, pipeline integrity, inspection processes, and industry standards while contributing to real-world engineering projects.

What are skills that would be helpful to your success as an intern?

• Graduated with a bachelor's or master's degree from an ABET- accredited school in one of our listed preferred majors.
• Pursuing mechanical engineering degree or other related majors.
• Preferred intern is targeted to graduate between December 2027 and May 2028..
• Available to start as a PT Intern in January or February 2027.
• Intern must be local to the greater Atlanta area and able to be in office a min of 16 hours a week.
• Completed minimum 2 years of coursework
• Basic understanding of engineering principles
• Familiar with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D
• Prior intern/engineering work experience highly considered
• Interest in energy and/or oil and gas pipeline system designs
• A solid working foundation with your major's core concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Ability to effectively problem solve.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.

Interview and Employment Requirements:

• Completion of pre interview assessments.
• College transcript submitted for anyone under 1 year of experience post-graduation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies.
