About the Role:
The Senior Nuclear Site Manager will play a pivotal role in leading our team at the VC Summer Nuclear Power Plant location in Jenkinsville, SC.
This position involves daily interactions with the Client and the ENERCON offices, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
- Lead project teams in preparing and reviewing design change packages and other engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate attendance at design review meetings and ensure site deliverable reviews and approvals are completed efficiently.
- Perform walk-downs and data gathering, track project schedules, and resource loading.
- Develop pre-job safety briefs and provide on-site support as needed.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead weekly client interface/project status meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Nuclear Engineering (related degrees or experience considered).
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in nuclear power or heavy industry.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Able to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites.
