Manufacturing Associate

Summary: Perform daily work assignments while trying to meet or exceed packaging targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Work with senior and follow production schedule to meet packaging demands.

Connecting and disconnecting hoses to transfer product from one tank to another tank. After transferring responsible for cleaning, pigging the lines.

Follow quality standards by taking samples by pulling product from the line for the QC lab to inspect.

Fill containers to include quart bottles, BIB and gallons.

Watch for leaks, wet bottle and spills.

Watch equipment to ensure operating correctly

Starts, adjusts, and repairs packaging machinery, or notifies maintenance department.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of order processing systems.

Certificates and Licenses:

Powered Industrial Truck License (Forklift)
