IT Support Technician
Endwell Family Physicians is looking for a motivated IT Support Technician to join our family medical practice in Endwell, New York. The Technical Support Representative will provide technical assistance and answers to user questions, assisting users by troubleshooting problems with computer hardware or software.

Job Description
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves user problems with computer software and hardware.
- Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding software programming, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns.
- Provide step-by-step guidance and instructions to end-users for resolving common problems and technical difficulties, both remotely and in person.
- Consults with users to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem.
- Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to supervisor
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems on end-user devices, ensuring compatibility and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and security of end-user devices, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Collaborates with other staff to research and resolve problems.
- Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
- Maintains knowledge of technological innovations and trends.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain patient confidentiality
Wage Range:
- $17 - $21/hour
Reporting Relationship:
- This job position reports to the Systems Administrator
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Professional and pleasant telephone and in-person manner.
- Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical employees and customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of computer hardware and software.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week for full-time, part-time negotiable
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts
