SUMMARY:
Become a part of our team as a Machinist! We are an oil and gas manufacturing facility seeking to enhance our team with a skilled machinist. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC lathes and mills with Fanuc Controls. We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of 2 years of CNC experience and a solid proficiency in troubleshooting and editing programs.
WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday- Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Setup and operate various CNC machines (lathes and mills) with Fanuc Controls.
Work independently from schematics, blueprints and process drawings
Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs
Inspect and ensure the quality of finished products
Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness
Assist and train other operators as needed
Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as needed beyond the primary job scope
Requirements
EHS REQUIREMENTS:
Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company’s TRIR goals
Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals
Complete, and actively participate in all the company’s Safety Skills training requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED (CNC machining certificate preferred)
Minimum of 2+ years CNC experience, specifically with Fanuc Controls.
Strong communication skills; able to understand technical drawings and blueprints.
Candidates must be able to successfully pass a drug test and background check as part of the employment process.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of a shop or warehouse.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area.
Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools.
Must be able to work at a fast pace.
Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions.
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work primarily occurs in a heated, non-air-conditioned manufacturing environment.
Hazards may include proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, and exposure to chemicals.
