Duration: 6–9 monthsCommitment: 15–25 hours per weekKey ResponsibilitiesLead & Mentor: Begin by managing a software development project with a Junior PM shadowing your process. Transition into a coaching role to build their confidence and capability.Develop PM Skills: Teach best practices in project planning, timeline management, cross-team communication, and stakeholder engagement.Guide Professional Growth: Support the Junior PM through structured phases: Phase 1 (Months 1–3): Build foundational PM knowledge and confidence through coursework and hands-on exposure.Phase 2 (Months 4–9): Apply structured methodologies; enable independent leadership of smaller projects.Phase 3 (Months 10–15): Prepare for PMI’s CAPM certification.RequirementsProven expertise in Software Development Project Management and SDLC, with hands-on experience in .NET and SQL environments.Strong background in mentoring or coaching junior team members.Bonus: Experience in financial services or fintech projects.
