What You’ll Do
The primary job of a Receiving Associate is safely unloading incoming material, performing quality checks, and accurately receiving product into the computer system.
Duties Include
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, item descriptions, and condition against purchase orders.
- Inspect deliveries for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues and report concerns promptly.
- Accurately document received goods in inventory or ERP systems
- Assist internal departments with locating or delivering needed materials.
- Provide support during audits and maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment safely.
- Unload trucks and containers using proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- Prior forklift and receiving experience preferred
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- The ability to lift 30–50 lbs repeatedly and stay on your feet 50–75% of the day
