Endries International, Inc., a leading distributor of fasteners and other class "c" commodities as well as a provider of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) worldwide, currently has an opening for a Branch Manager in Holland, MI. This is a “Hands On” position at local customer sites.

Description
Endries International, Inc., a leading distributor of fasteners and other class "c" commodities as well as a provider of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) solutions for original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) worldwide, currently has an opening for a Branch Manager in Holland, MI. This is a “Hands On” position at local customer sites.
Essential Functions
- Support Customers production facilities via Endries VMI system and local Endries stockroom personnel.
- Hands on position working with customer contacts on a daily basis, while managing and directing local Endries personnel.
- Support Customer Satisfaction and profitable management of designated accounts for long-term stability, while maintaining pricing to maximize profitability.
- Review appropriate reports and records to ensure bin management system is properly maintained. Physically assist local Endries personnel as needed to operate VMI system.
- Assist in training new associates.
- Utilize the company Performance Evaluation procedure or Corrective Action Policy to ensure team members meet/perform job expectations and work towards achieving future goals or improvement plans
- Provide a healthy job environment to promote employee satisfaction and thereby decrease opportunity for turnover.
- Associate degree in Business, or equivalent educational experience
- Business classes or equivalent
- Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
- Experience in the Fastener Industry a plus/Product Knowledge/application
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- General business understanding/Good math skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs as needed to assist with VMI stocking programs
