Job description

We are looking for someone to add to our switchboard assembly team to perform mechanical assembly of final assemblies using a variety of tools and/or equipment according to required specifications, processes and procedures on the production floor in a manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow work orders, read and interpret production drawings and complex blueprints, and have a willingness to go the extra mile to work with other team members to find solutions and present them to their direct reports
• Assist in the assembly of UL891 Switchboards with the use of a 3D model, from the frames, to the busbar to the breakers and stickers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the manufacturing facility
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with other team members to ensure a good work environment
• Work to report on issues, malfunctions and defective parts to our manufacturing and engineering teams.

Requirements and Skills:

One year of mechanical assembly experience is required

• Must have experience using hand tools/power tools/machines
• Must be able to assemble things from a 3D model and understand how pieces go together
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
• Ability to work on feet for large portions of the day
