Position Overview:
Full-time or part-time sonographer needed for outpatient vascular imaging in Pueblo, Colorado. This will be in a clinic setting. Candidates should be able to work well in a small team environment. Excellent patient care and high quality images should be of utmost importance. Sonographer will need to be able to perform critical thinking and be able to problem solve as this role allows for significant autonomy. No weekends, call, or holidays.
Group Overview:
We are a 4 provider private interventional radiology practice with an outpatient procedural center and full-service clinic in Pueblo West, Colorado. We treat patients from all over Colorado, and from numerous states around the country. We specialize in arterial interventions and provide all vascular services to wound patients. We also perform venous and arterial embolization.
Performance Objectives:
- Collaborate with clinical staff and physicians in a small practice, providing optimal and efficient care to patients in need. We will have protocols built for the scans.
- Autonomy - sonographer will need to be able to independently make decisions in the best interest of the study at hand so we can optimize imaging in the best interest of the patient. Significant findings will need to be brought to the physician’s attention immediately.
- Provide patients with a comforting and compassionate experience.
- Familiarity with GE Logiq E9 would help with speeding up workflow.
Requirements:
- Ability to handle high-volumes
- Abdomen/pelvic experience is required
- RVT Registered is a preferred
- Excellent communication Skills (Verbal and Nonverbal)
- Able to stand for long periods of time (US chair will be available)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Arterial doppler, deep venous doppler, venous insufficiency experience are requirements.
