Nurse Manager - Endoscopy

We are looking for a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse who is interested in leading and managing all aspects of the daily operations of an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) dedicated to outpatient gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy. This individual must be dedicated, highly motivated, and detail oriented. They will need to work well in a close team setting and have excellent communication skills with proficiency in common computer systems and applications.

The candidate must be enthusiastic about working with a dynamic, patient-centered medical team of administrators, physicians, CRNAs, nurses, and medical technicians to deliver state-of-the-art medical care and ensure the center runs safely and efficiently.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of daily ASC operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and quality patient care.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all provider, staff and patient issues, resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
• Oversee employee relations, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Work under and closely with the Endoscopy Center Director and perform necessary managerial responsibilities in their absence.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and CRNAs to maintain safe, efficient, and high-quality clinical operations.
• Assist in state and federal regulatory surveys and accreditation processes.
• Lead hiring, training, and supervision of all nurses and medical technicians, including orientation, education, evaluation, and record keeping.
• Responsible for monthly staff schedules and daily staffing requirements.
• Assist staff as needed to maintain smooth operations.
• Manage medical supply purchasing and cost containment, promoting operational and clinical efficiency.
• Assist in data collection and preparation of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) programs and participate in quarterly QAPI committee meetings.
• Initiate, maintain, update, and interpret all ASC policies, procedures, and objectives.
• Maintain facility pharmacy and crash cart management.
• Ensure familiarity and knowledge of ASC EHR system.
• Understand GI endoscopic equipment and processing protocols.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with active Colorado License.
• At least one (1) year experience in an ASC, OR, or peri-operative setting.
• CPR certification in BLS and ACLS.
• Evidence of strong managerial and leadership skills.
• Strong ethical and moral character references.
• GI or GI Endoscopy experience is desired but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
