Privately owned high volume West Knoxville endocrinology office seeking a full time Registered Nurse . We are a private practice that offers a positive, supportive work environment with set hours (Mon - Thur 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am - 11:30am) and no holidays or weekends. Job responsibilities: Partner with and assist a physician that specializes in caring for patients with endocrine disease. Daily tasks include rooming patients, vital signs, downloading insulin pumps and glucose meters, triage, patient education, and care coordination. EMR and phone triage experience preferred but not required, must have superior communication and spelling, computer/keyboarding skills, advanced medical terminology, and knowledge of common medications. Diabetes experience a plus but not required.
