POST-HARVEST TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION
The Post-Harvest Technician role at Endo involves executing crucial post-harvest processes with precision and efficiency, including trimming, packaging, labeling, and inventory management. The company, known for its premium flower and commitment to responsible consumption and community impact, operates two grow facilities, a processing facility, and currently 2 retail locations. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures including, but not limited to, state compliance, security protocols, access protocols, and company standard operating procedures
- Maintain flexibility in completing a wide array of tasks through the course of any given day. One moment the team is trimming and hand manicuring cannabis, the next moment packaging Cannabis Flower and Pre-Roll products or labeling and recording inventory data
- Work tactically to ensure complete and on-time execution of production schedules
- Timely trimming/hand manicuring of medical cannabis
- Creation and packaging of Cannabis Flower and Pre-Roll products
- Work quickly and efficiently and strive to consistently increase productivity
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to improve and promote quality
- Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the trimming/packaging room while performing all duties
- Assist with the harvest and curing process of cannabis
- Perform any other work or projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 21 years or older and be able to pass a background check
- Experience working with licensed Cannabis businesses is preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal/state/local legal compliance with all applicable statutes, regulations, and directives in all respects to the cannabis industry
- Familiarity with production and warehouse procedures
- Excellent computer, mathematic, language, and reasoning skills
- High level of integrity and accountability
- A propensity to be proactive in all areas of the job
- Experience with and comfortable operating in a "start-up mode" with multiple players within the company
- Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and eagerness to lean in to support team/projects when needed are required.
- Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a constantly changing, fast-paced, and at times high-pressure environment required
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work well both alone and with others
- Employee needs to be able to walk, sit, stand, crouch, and reach throughout the day; ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Ability to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed is required
