Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and cargo vans, adhering strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks
• Transport goods efficiently along designated routes while maintaining accurate delivery schedules
• Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, moving items, and organizing shipments
• Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update logs, and communicate with dispatch teams in real-time
• Load & unload cargo with proper lifting practices to prevent injury and ensure safe handling of heavy items
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages promptly and professionally, addressing any delivery concerns

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures
• Warehouse experience with familiarity in material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks
• Strong understanding of commercial truck driving, including manual transmission vehicles and heavy lifting techniques
• Ability to adhere to traffic regulations, DOT standards, and safe lifting practices at all times
• Excellent manual handling skills for moving goods safely within warehouses or during deliveries
• Customer service-oriented mindset with clear communication skills for interacting with clients professionally
• Competence in operating mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and documentation
