Responsibilities
- Supervise daily salon operations, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to meet performance standards and promote a positive work environment.
- Manage inventory control, purchasing, and merchandising to ensure product availability and attractive displays.
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and store financials with accuracy.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing customers through promotional activities.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions and ongoing training to enhance skills in retail sales, customer service, and safety protocols.
- Monitor sales performance, set sales goals, and develop action plans to achieve revenue targets while managing budgets effectively.
Experience
- Proven management experience in retail or service-oriented environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong background in retail math, sales management, inventory management, and store merchandising.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are preferred for serving diverse clientele.
- Experience with POS systems, payroll software, bookkeeping practices, and cash handling procedures.
- Prior experience in recruiting, training & development, shift management, and marketing strategies is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining organizational skills and attention to detail.
