Laundry Attendant Assistant Manager

We're looking for a dependable and hardworking Assistant Manager to help lead our laundromat operations. This role requires excellent customer service skills, leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Store Manager and other team members to oversee laundry operations, maintain equipment, supervise staff, and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. • Availability: Friday 7-2pm, Saturday 7-2pm and Sunday 7-2pm. Also, on call for the weekend to help answer questions from other staff members and ensure processing is flowing correctly, on call comes with a $50 on call incentive every weekend. May be able to pick up an overlap shift on Mondays when our busy season starts.
• Training will occur during the week on the 7-2 shift.

What You'll Do:

• Support Daily Operations:

Help keep things running smoothly, from making sure machines are working to keeping the store clean and welcoming.Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the laundromat, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery to customers.

• Provide Great Customer Service:

Be friendly and helpful to every customer who walks through the door. Many of our regulars are local families, seniors, and shift workers who appreciate a kind word and good service.

• Train and Lead Team Members:

Support our laundry attendants by showing them how we do things — safely, respectfully, and efficiently. Set a good example with your work ethic and attitude.

• Keep Things Clean & Safe:

Make sure our laundromat stays clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff. This includes sweeping, wiping down machines, and checking for hazards.

• Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory, including detergent, cleaning supplies, and other necessary materials. Ensure proper stock levels and reorder as needed.
• Handle Cash & Machines:

Help with opening/closing duties, including handling cash and checking machines for issues. We’ll train you on everything you need to know.

• Scheduling & Staffing: Assist in creating staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for peak and off-peak hours. Help manage employee time off and shift changes as needed.

At least 6 months of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role, preferably in a laundry, retail, or customer service environment. Must be able to pass a background check and a drug test.
