School of Music, Dance and Theatre
Collaborates with the music theatre and opera faculty and staff to coordinate, build and ensure readiness of all scenic elements for all musical theatre and opera productions and collaborations, coordinates and manages all technical elements of stage production which may include lighting, sound, equipment requirements, and stage management. The Manager of Music Theatre and Opera Productions will construct scenery, manage props, oversee inventories, maintain facilities and equipment, and purchase specific materials needed for production. The candidate chosen will assist with overseeing the work of supporting staff and contractors, students in scenic, property construction, paint, lighting, sound, media and stage management, and teach production classes. This classification requires a flexible work schedule in order to meet the needs of the department.
