We are seeking an experienced Festival Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and operations of large-scale events in the Philadelphia market. This is a contract-based role ideal for a highly organized, solutions-driven professional with a strong background in live events, food & beverage operations, or festival production.
Location Requirement:
Candidates must be based in Philadelphia or within a reasonable commuting distance.
- Lead end-to-end festival execution, including planning, logistics, and onsite management
- Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, city officials, and internal teams
- Oversee food & beverage operations, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and team leadership during event operations
- Handle permitting, licensing, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure financial accountability
- Troubleshoot real-time issues and maintain high-level guest experience standards
- Proven experience managing festivals, large-scale events, or high-volume operations
- Strong knowledge of event logistics, vendor coordination, and F&B execution
- Experience working with permits, city regulations, and compliance standards
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Must be available for flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Contract Pay (commensurate with experience and scope of work)
