Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured parts meet strict quality standards, adhere to industry regulations, and comply with company procedures. Your keen eye for detail and strong analysis skills will help uphold our reputation for excellence in precision manufacturing.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of sheet metal and CNC machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems.
- Verify compliance with industry standards including ISO 13485, ISO 9001, HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations.
- Perform quality audits to evaluate manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all inspection activities are documented accurately in accordance with quality management systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Support calibration of measurement tools and maintain calibration records to ensure measurement accuracy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and QA/QC procedures.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP standards, and industry best practices for quality assurance.
- Ability to perform detailed data collection, documentation, and reporting efficiently.
