We are seeking a dependable and motivated SCADA Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical control and SCADA systems serving municipal water and wastewater facilities.
This position is ideal for entry-level to mid-level candidates looking to build a career in industrial controls and automation. The role includes electrical panel fabrication, field service, system calibration, and equipment upgrades. All tools and necessary equipment are provided by the company.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Posthigh school education in electrical, electronics, engineering technology, or related field
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Understanding of basic electrical principles (AC/DC circuits, relays, instrumentation)
- Experience with Rockwell Automation software (FactoryTalk, Studio 5000, RSLogix) is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Build and wire electrical control panels
- Install, replace, and upgrade electrical and SCADA equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and control systems
- Calibrate instrumentation (level, pressure, flow, chlorine, etc.)
- Assist with system startup and commissioning
- Complete service documentation and reports
